We are a London based company offering a way to offset your emissions of carbon dioxide by funding transparent, accountable
projects happening in London.
To get involved, register on this site, (using the yellow link above), work out what your carbon footprint is in tonnes, using one of the links on the right.
Then buy tonnes of social carbon to offset emissions due to your lifestyle. This project provides not just reduced carbon emissions, but has a clear social benefit that will improve the quality of life of londoners.
This money will be used to replace old inefficient appliances in vulnerable homes (generally those in receipt of benefits). The vulnerable homes, will have reduced electricity bills, reduced associated emissions, and improved refrigeration facilities.
Also new, long life, low energy consumption lightbulbs will not only reduce electricity bills, but also reduce the small risk of injury caused by changing conventional light bulbs.
This process also can act as a social energy offset, the new appliances will use less electricity, and so helping to displace electricity production.
